re: For Christians staying home

Another cop-out is using the scripture to say shite like “we should submit to Caesar”, we don’t have a Caesar, we have a government for and by the people, even though it doesn’t always seem that way. Of all the countries on earth, Christians are called more than ever to participate in a country whose sovereign is the people. Anybody claiming to be above it all is likely not a Christian

It is when you realize one candidate is going to push for codifying killing humans in utero at almost any stage of development. God will ask them why they offered no resistance to that and they'll be hemming and hawing standing on "principles" while others died. Mortal sin.
Where was the resistance and fighting towards the Roman Empire, who killed our Lord and Savior?

GOD commands us in multiple places in Holy Scripture to specifically take care of the widows and orphans, so your argument makes no sense.

I mean for many Christians, Jesus is the only President that they listen to. So should we really shame them for wanting to withhold from a worldly government election? I mean neither candidate is really a Godly person.
Yes, we should. One party wants to mutilate children, but let's not get involved, because that's a worldly matter. That kid's dick will grow back in Heaven anyways.
I wish I could see the look on the faces of all the Christians when they get to the Pearly Gates, and St. Peter says, "You allowed thousands of children to be needlessly harmed through gender transitions and abortion, because you couldn't be bothered to vote against evil. If you didn't stand up for the most vulnerable among you, why should God stand up for you?"

Youre not of this world and its governance.
God dont care who gets elected, he dont deal with "countries' he deals with individual people.

As individuals yes. Not as a nation.

I agree. My response was that unlike their spurious claims to be found nowhere in Holy Scripture nor Traditions to participate in govt, we are commanded as the Church to give aid to widows and orphans.

where are these people at? This feels like one of those media lies that they're trying to get people to repeat until it becomes true.
The entire issue stems from misleading language about a poll. The poll was probably accurate (to the extent that any of them are) but it was presented in a click-bait way and it worked.

Regardless, whatever resistance resulted in the empire adopting Christianity in 380A.D.

What about our country killing people through bombs, missiles, bullets, etc? I mean if we really want to get down to it, both and every candidate backs killing people in some fashion. Is God also going to ask all of us, why didn’t we fight for more love and peace, instead of just going along with the wars, and backing other countries who go to war, killing lots of innocent people.

Roman Catholicism isn’t Christianity.

why didn’t we fight for more love and peace, instead of just going along with the wars,
personally.
I was in DC at 17 to find out what was happening for myself and help protest the war.
When I was 18 I volunteered for the Air Force.
I have my faith and I have my world to deal with. The war was wrong and I still despise Congress for that.
I volunteered because we had brothers and sisters dying and I wanted to help.
It is a constant struggle to keep the devil out. Stay strong in your faith.
but that is just me.
