I buy it daily. Haven’t stopped.

And I believe this massive sell off will filter out many of the spectaculars leaving behind a larger percentage of us who are in it because we see the bigger picture.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but in a nutshell…..what is the bigger picture?

My concerns with crypto currencies is the federal reserve…..they will not go quietly.

1. Dot coms

As if web sites were a loss. Businesses were overvalued, but not the technology that allowed them to exist. This is not like the dotcom bubble. This is like thinking TCP/IP is a bubble. BTC is the network. Its not some website.

2. Mortgage backed securities

Securities and especially their derivatives lose value when the assets behind them lose value. BTC is backed by an immutable and interminable computer network. It is the assett.

Tulips can be produced ad infinitum. Bitcoin is finite, the supply can never increase.

You fiatcoiners holding on to your precious government paper. I hate to see it.

I have been shorting it for the past couple weeks. Think it will eventually go to $9-12k. Possibly $6k.

Talk about a chuckle.

Tell us wise one, what percentage of your holdings are in Bitcoin?

I mean if it has another zero or two coming in the next 8 years you should be all in.

Thanks for the laugh.

Bitcoin is going to zero. Zero.

It’s a great question

There are A lot of bitconvinced around here so I’d love to know how they value it versus where the market has it valued.

The general opinion seems to be that the market has it wrong and bitcoin should be valued infinite!
I’m taking liberties with that but there is a strong bullishness amongst the bitcons.

I don’t pretend to know where bitcoin will go and anyone who says they do is lying to themselves.

That said, Crypto “investing” is really just pure gambling. All you’re doing is betting that some other sucker will be willing to pay more than you for something that has zero intrinsic value. Modern day baseball cards, art, beanie babies, etc.

At which point would you have bought a beanie baby?

Do you agree the primary factors in determining the value of BTC are currently speculation, emotion and momentum? If not, what are they?

Do you believe a central bank, namely the Federal Reserve, will drop the Dollar in your lifetime?

I hate to see people like you who think TPTB will relinquish its stranglehold on currency to We The People and Bitcoin . You will have a FED coin and nothing else and will like it

Fiat always goes to zero. It is the toxic corrosive poison that has undermined the fabric of society for 50 years, and fueled a century of brutal global violence and oppression. It is a lodestone around the neck of American innovation and prosperity.

The federal reserve is a literal gang of criminals that skims value from American productivity, and siphons it off to a totally unproductive oligarchic political class. They can only get away with it for so long, especially now that the people have an alternative to the melting ice cube that is government paper. The people of this planet will indeed wake up to these facts and the reserve status will die. It will be in my lifetime.

At this moment, your fiatcoin is worth about 5200 satoshis. Five years ago, it was worth about 40000. Don't care, eh? That's exactly how much I care about the "value of BTC" from day to day. Ill check it in 5-10 years.

The hardest money always wins. It's only a matter of time.

If this happens, we'll have far bigger problems than anything currency/BTC-related.

I’m all in if it goes to $o.16.

its inevitable

a totally decentralized global computer network cant be taken down

its mere existence ensures its continued expansion

That’s what gold thought.

Many people will make a lot of money until it implodes. I wish you luck, man.

Also, I’m no economist, just a well-read, 20+ year, financial advisor (formerly), so it’s in my blood to say: I hope you’re properly diversified.
