2 backwards countries that didn't celebrate diversity, allow gay marriage, banned muslims, transgenders literally had no rights, thank goodness we crushed them!

Not even casual racism? Aside from what I previously stated, I'm not talking about passing around racist jokes printed on construction paper amongst OR physicians. That practice died out in the early 80s, but more subtle variations persisted. Maybe you don't know your peers as well as you think or are willing to discuss.

Thanks for encapsulating the moral vacuousness and intellectual bankruptcy that comprises Progressivism in one tidy little post.

Impossible, actually. It's ridiculously common.
I missed this gem.
Honestly if houses filled with racist memorabilia even exist among your associations, much less are "ridiculously common", you need to find a different crowd to hang with. Seriously. There is something terribly wrong in your circle of acquaintances. That is nowhere close to normal. Try a new crowd, maybe new friends, and a therapist.

Kneeling during the national anthem is not disrespectful to the flag. It is disrespectful to the millions of men and women who sacrificed property and life to institute, maintain, preserve and protect the liberty that allows them to kneel.
To kneel while in a foreign country makes it exponentially worse. If I owned the club, they'd be left in the UK.

So we've moved all the way from JameGumb-type creeps to casual racism?
Of course I've encountered casual bigotry, of all sorts. As pertinent to race, I've encountered it from all sides of the racial spectrum. I've also encountered many associations mistaken for racism, when in reality the encounters involved obviously nonracial underpinnings.

Who said anything about Jame Gumb? I'm talking about the aberrations that outwardly "very fine people" hide, that "ordinary" people would find shocking. If you deny experience of that, well, your experience does not match mine over several decades, and several perspectives spanning the range.

I'm 51 years old, live in the deep south and don't know a single person who proudly flies a Confederate or Nazi flag. Next question.
That strikes me as either disingenuous, indicative of the fact you are oblivious to your surroundings or you don't get out very much.
I am of a very similar age and have lived much of my life in the South and see them constantly. I am at my camp on the Diversion right now and I can see three Confederate battle flags from my front porch and see a dozen or more on a boat ride. That said including mine I can see 7 US flags. Several of the bars around here have them hanging up as well. Now I haven't seen any Nazi flags recently enough to recall where they were, they are indeed rare. I do however notice a 14 or 88 or similarly "covert" tattoo often enough to not be surprised by them.

You are 51 and never see confederate flags on trucks?
What state?

I have never in my 30 years of life, ever seen anyone flying a Nazi flag
The people that fly Confederate flags usually have an American one next to it.

Guess I'm just oblivious or simply don't care enough to look for it. You know it's a lot like being outside and noticing snakes. If you're not looking for them, they almost have to be in your path before you see them.
