The guy was a proud white nationalist. He has free will. A lack of permit or counter protesters didn't lead him to willingly get in a car, start it and murder someone. He was full of hate before yesterday

I find it amusing that you are putting political ideology over public safety. Had the law been followed, Fields would not have been able to do what he did. But you're ignoring this because you are just head over heels that someone died by the hands of a white nationalist.

Did the racists have a permit? Yes
Did ANTIFA have a permit? No
Did ANTIFA come into the grounds and approach the racists? Yes
Did the cops stand down when a group of idiots ANTIFA started fighting with the racists? Yes
When shite hit he fan after ANTIFA interfered with the racist assembly, did the cops run away? Yes
We're the cops then told to make the group with the permit leave? Yes
Did the police leave the other group vulnerable after their illegal confrontation? Yes
Does reacting to violence beget violence? Yes
So yes, ANTIFA and the cops also share this blame. Let the racist idiots show their arse and move on with life. Had that happened this poor girl would be alive. But no, we couldn't have that. One group of idiots had to out idiot the other while the city's leadership completely failed (which coincidentally fits the pattern every single time the ANTIFA idiots show up).
Sorry reality sucks. I hope the driver dies a painful death in prison, but this should have been avoided.

Have you seen the Periscope video I posted in another thread? There were no cops around when Fields rammed his car into the counter-protestors. It took several minutes for paramedics to arrive on foot at the scene and minutes more for the police to finally show up. Fact of the matter is...police were no where close to the scene of the counter-demonstrations when Fields attacked with his Charger.

No one is absolving the driver of his actions. However, it is not incorrect to point out the incompetence of the Charlottesville police and the thug behavior of the ANTIFA animals gave this guy the opening he needed.
