The more I hear, the more I'm convinced my son is going to grow up to run some shite.

How many Gen-Z posters do we have?

Based on my perusing of this and other boards…my guess is thousands if not tens of thousands.

The idiocy of the vast majority of posters is astonishing.

How is this possible when all of them stay on their phones 24/7

Videos. All they do is watch and make videos. Stepchild became a lawyer about 20 years ago. She was being taught back then for future jury presentations to transition from photos and story boards to video style presentations.

How can a generation raised on internet (text-based) content not be able to read a sentence? To use a Gen Z colloquialism, the math isn't mathing.

Gen Z are arriving to college unable to even read a sentence—professors warn it could lead to a generation of anxious and lonely graduates

Why would the professors that are complaining about the minimal reading abilities of new college arrivals even think of graduating those students?

Parents of this generation had no idea the damage technology was doing to their kids. I feel for them.

No, everyone knew, but it was just easier to shut them up with a tablet. The parents of today have learned zero lessons from the iPad zombies that started 10 or so years ago.

It's not so much tech, (I was into building computers at a young age) but it's the passive consumption of media to the exclusion of almost anything going on in real life. In the old days (2012) , parents would put on a loop of Little Einsteins in the play room and let the crumb snatchers play with blocks and cars, etc.
