If you think people like George Will, Jennifer Rubin and Bill Kristol have any interest in limiting government, you're a moron. The Never Trump coalition have one thing in common: they want permanent war around the globe and the United States as world policeman. It's why they voted for Hillary Clinton. It's why they'll vote for Joe Biden. Congrats on breaking bread with the most bloodthirsty human beings on Earth: American neoconservatives.

Remember when being a neoconservative was the worst thing you could be according to a progressive?

If Never Trumpers really want to convince republicans to vote against Trump, they would be doing everything they could to secure republican majorities to protect themselves against a Biden Presidency.
But they're either not smart enough or too arrogant to do that and Never Trump has become Never Republican and they are real, live democrats.

I feel it should be pointed out that none of these people work for National Review
The National Review has one associated with it who is just as intransigent and contemptible toward Trump as any of the others on the so-called Right waiting patiently for him to fail - Lowry.
Seems to be gone forever for the NR having stalwarts like Buckley and his co-founder Ralph de Toledano who wrote the definitive book on The Insittute for Social Research (Frankfurt School) one of the prime reasons for the leftist pandemic that has swept across the West.
The book Cry Havoc!.
Couldn't have chosen a better title for it.

Lowry has endorsed Trump and wrote a book about the benefits of nationalism.

Amazing that for so long the Republican platform was based around interventionism and capital gains taxes while the middle class has completely eroded

So it's not Lowry temporizing - complying with time and occasion - attempting to get back lost readers.
As is suspected with Levin and Berry, and others attempting to get back lost listeners/viewers.
Lowry seems as anything but the nationalist type.

So now you're making stuff up?
You could just admit you were wrong.

Met this guy twice. Second time, sat across table from him. Egotistical and arrogant. I used to like this guy. Just like John “my dad was a mailman” Kasich. Same experience. Arrogant and could care less about other people.
Trump broke both men, and many more since he came down the escalator with Melanie. ????

I'm sure George's picture is in the dictionary next to "bloviating windbag."

Making stuff up? Nah.
Merely speculating on just how upfront these posers are, going by how they revealed themselves during the '16 campaign.
But suppose there's still room for blind faith in such types.

Excellent.
The reason Trump is president is because of “conservatives” such as George Will.
The Nostradumbass also predicted the Iraq War would be a humanitarian mission.
If Trump accomplishes nothing else, he has served a tremendous service to the tattered remnants of the Republic by exposing Conservative Inc.® to be fetid pool of statist toadies whose primary allegiance is to our nation’s corrupt Deep State.

Calling George Will a hack is a job promotion. Will simply regurgitates verbatim CIA talking points:
George Will: Trump colluded with Putin

That election was the one that taught me, once and for all, that we don't have a press. We have a Democratic Party PR machine.
Same. I was too young to vote, but remember watching the news coverage and seeing how upset and in the tank they were for Democrats.
Loved arush Limbaugh in those days.

I caught on to their bullshite during Dubya’s first term

I agree. All Democrats should be removed from office because their politics has absolutely led to the current demise of our nation.

There is not a whit of difference between elitists of the Republican and Democratic Parties.

I thought George Will was a life long Republican? Isnt he very respected in most conservative circles?
Posted on 6/3/20 at 8:49 am to DesScorp
There is a ground swell of life long Republicans who agree with him. Times are different, and our executive leadership is missing this sea change in America. The pandemic response, and Trumps position on the racism is law enforcement has lit the gas tank. Bull rushing and tear gasing of peaceful protest on global tv for a photo op is not playing well.
