What happened during Biden's term? Biden not only embraced Trump's first term tariffs, but he expanded them.

Those on the Left, when/if, they come back into power will again embrace these tariffs. Don't fool yourself. They will want the $$$.

Back to Reddit with you.

Definitely being forced to overpay for COGS is a great indicator of running a business efficiently, amiright?

When you voted for trump 3 times was he too vague in the things he would do when he was voted in??

Or were you too stupid to understand what you were voting for???

I’m betting you voted for Trump 3 times because of what an idiot you are.

I hope you structured your contracts so that you can pass on added regulatory costs and tariffs.

I’m a republican and did for for trump. Doesn’t mean I have to agree with every one one of his policies. I do not agree with him on putting a tariff on the industry I work in. Like I said before, I paid $15M in tariffs in the last 12 months and all of it was borne by US companies. Manufacturing for these items isn’t coming back to the US with these tariffs. And I only got a 5% reduction in price from foreign supplier.

It’s actually worse than raising taxes for me. I have to pay upfront before I get and sell the material. Sucks. And only US businesses are hurt in my situation.

I’ll be fine. Just less profits, less hiring, hire prices to US customers, etc.

The market has spoken. Tariffs are not good for American jobs

Business bankruptcy filings saw a 7.1 percent increase in the year ending December 31, 2025, with over 24,000 cases filed. Commercial Chapter 11 filings also rose significantly, with over 700 companies filing between January and November 2025, marking the highest rate since 2010.

What year is it? The left is just anti-Trump. It’s their entire identity.
