A grown-assed California lawyer once accused me of gross vulgarity for calling something (not even someone) "asinine."
At least that term has its roots in the word for donkey which has been extended to slang for buttocks.

This Chinese word (used A LOT, especially as filler word, like saying "that that that...") got a professor suspended because some future undesirable employees pretended to be offended.

English Soccer match commenters use the word niggle all the time.
"Rashford's picked up a niggling injury to his hamstring"
Definition from Oxford Languages Dictionary:
cause slight but persistent annoyance, discomfort, or anxiety.
And if those woke fricks dont have a problem......

People just live to be offended and don't care it is their ignorance of the English language that allows them to be.
Where do they get the energy for it? It has to be exhausting being offended all of the time, considering the twisting and contorting it takes most of the time to be offended. And it seems to always be someone being offended on behalf of someone else or a group of people they clearly don't belong to....as if that group hasn't the sense to be offended and needs someone to notify them when it is time to be. Its been going on for about 30 years now but has really picked up speed in the last 10 years. I used to think that young people would outgrow it when the reality of life hit them as it does to folks around 23 or so but so far they seem to be able to maintain their level of offense steady....its got to be exhausting though.
I will say though that the number of people who openly lament the days when they could use the word without regard or infinitely more sillier than those who claim hearing the word will reduce them to tears and have them trembling with awakened memories of lynchings etc. If you want to use the word, use it....no one cares until someone does and you are only censoring yourself. I have a good friend who is as good a person as you'd ever want to meet who is seriously put out because he "ain't allowed to use that word but black folks can". I love him like a brother and he is as good a people as you will find on the planet but that is just some kind of silliness right there....no one is preventing his using the word but him.

Yeah, that was weird. All of the sudden we had to say "Asian." I have two theories:
1) The media likes it being "Asian" because it's destructive to information, e.g. when an "Asian" man from that part of Asia called "Syria" or "Iran" blows up / rapes something.
2) "Orientalism" was a very influential book, and school of thought, about how the West (i.e. cuck world) treats the East (i.e. Putin-Xi-Anime world) as "other," and that's bad, since we're all actually the same or whatever.

Passionate ignorance is the worst kind.
We have a "swampism" (a made-up term) we use around the house for this:
Arrognance: n, the quality of being arrogant regarding one's position in relation to a topic in which that individual is completely and utterly ignorant.

I grew up calling it a 'monkey wrench'. That was racist so I found out it was 'pipe wrench'. Years later I found it in a store called 'adjustable wrench'. I can't keep up.

Something similar happened at work to me one time. Some girl had some bug bites on her lower leg and was worried she might have bed bugs. I told her if she had walked through some grass recently it was probably just chigger bites.
Oh, boy. A group of people freaked out. Apparently they had never heard those ankle biting bugs called chiggers before. That's all we called them down south from what I remember but I had to explain and Google my way out of that one.

It’s Latin. Don’t expect an uneducated person to be familiar with the word…..unless they played Bourre’
