So what makes me full of shite exactly? I just want to see our money spent wisely.
Trump has done a good job to this point, and I don't want an insanely expensive purchase to change that.

We could do that and more. Without NATO approval and with complete control over sovereign air and sea. And with an economic offset in the form of natural resources that pay for it all.

You’re like the Epstein bros who preface their posts with “I voted for Trump three times, but …..” Go pound sand, Greenland bro.

Where were all you "We must have Greenland" people a few years ago?
It's because the orange turd now wants it.

Yea but when you take away all of the fraud waste and abuse discovered by DOGE we have plenty of money now to bring down the deficit (which he is already doing) and purchase Greenland while having shite tons of money left over to do other things
Dude.
1. Even using Elon Musk's own numbers instead of the significantly smaller numbers that independent analysis have returned, DOGE found about $160 billion that could be cut. That's the highest estimate I could find and it includes laying off federal employees, the whole nine.
2. The interest on the deficit costs roughly $80 Billion A MONTH. So DOGE's savings (even assuming the highest estimate possible) would pay for two month's worth of INTEREST on the deficit ad not move the needle on the principle at all.
3. Yes, the deficit decreased from 2024 to 2025. By roughly $40 Billion. That's about 2.3%. Before you say something like, "Every little bit helps," or "He's just getting started," or "At least it didn't go up," take a look at the quoted data below. Sorry it didn't copy and past cleanly but I trust that you can see what the three columns are.

Do you see how much the deficit changes? It can fluctuate hugely based on tax revenues, economic cycles, wars or other extraordinary events like COVID, defense buildups, entitlements increasing...all kinds of things.
You may notice that it went up every year in Trump's first term after having gone down every year for the 4 years prior. I'm not saying that's dispositive of anything, only that there are so many factors that go into it you'd have to really analyze each year carefully to figure out why it went up or down.
What for sure looking at that data is that the amount that it went down last year is negligible.
And that is why THIS:
quote:
we have plenty of money now to bring down the deficit (which he is already doing) and purchase Greenland while having shite tons of money left over to do other things
Is competely divorced from reality.

There what is? Your lack of ability to question things?
Even some of Trumps most powerful allies question him every now and then. They guy is awesome and has done a great job. But I question the ROI of buying Greenland.

I think we need Greenland,I just don’t think Trump should be threatening to take it by force.
Likely he would have better success by trying to work a deal with the citizens of Greenland.
We could do a lot more for them than Denmark has ever done.

That depends on the military ambitions for Greenland, and the resources there are indeed difficult to tap. But there's no question that ownership vs military expansion under the current treaty is much more favorable for the US. This isn't our first attempt at purchasing Greenland since the treaty.

We have access to Greenland now, stupid.

If you can't see why Greenland is going to be viral in coming decades I don't know what to do with you. Strategically it's incredibly vital to controlling the Arctic, would be an ideal location for missile defense as well. It's got massive natural resources critical for security, such as rare earth minerals, gold, as well as at least 17 billion of barrels of oil. Denmark is not capable of either defending it from the Russians or accessing the wealth

Full of shite about what exactly? I think Trump is a great president, and done a hell of a job.
I have questions about the amount of money we are about to spend when we have a stupid high deficit already.
