Harleys are crap and have been for awhile. They're living on reputation only at this point, IMO. I'm not a huge bike guy myself, and I would never buy a Harley, so none of that matters to me in the least anyway.

Discontinued the bike that built their brand in the first place with the Sportster.
Replacing air cooled engines in multiple lines with water cooled characterless hot garbage, and plans to do much more.
Face planting themselves in the electric market with the Live Wire, err Short Circuited Wire, as if anyone looking to buy a Harley would ever be open to such an abomination.
These people are pushing the fail button faster than they can hit the button. It’s why their stock has plummeted and hardcore HD riders are so put off by it all.

And those cocksuckers will lowball the ever living frick out of you. They offered me 8k lower than an equal bike to mine on their showroom floor when mine was in better condition, was more rare, and had less miles.
Knowing that their CEO is a DEI supporting piece of shite is just icing on the cake. I will buy another Japanese bike, they are better made, much faster, and 10x more reliable anyway.

I have owned several bikes. Only bought 1 HD, a sportster. It sounded great.The mirror fell off on the way home. Within a short time the break cable broke. Had costly trouble soon and often. Dumped the thing after 9 months. Returned to Honda. Best ride was a BMW. Most reliable were Hondas. HD have been junk for decades.
