Short version: if GPS data has shifted by tens of feet by June, we're fricked. If GPS data remains consistent, we aren't fricked.

If you are familiar with Ethical Skeptic's work on the ECDO theory, or Ben Davidson's work on polar shifts on a 6000 year cycle
Fortunately for all of us, SFP happens to be the authority on this specific subject matter, among many, many others.

Humor aside, it depends on which of these sources you find most "on point."
Ethical Skeptic's ECDO theory would state:
" If the event recurs, it could take another 300-1000 years before it happens, in the worst case. That is even "if" it recurs at all. I do not think that the cycle is fixed, and may well involve two intense ECDO rotations (what the Egyptian preists recounted to Herodotus), followed by 20,000 years of relatively quiet rotation. I cite two cycles in the material, 5,200 years and 6,443 years. We have already well surpassed the 5,200 year cycle and will likely surpass the 6,443 year one as well."
As data is being compiled very rapidly on our magnetosphere in recent weeks and months, I have not seen him change his stance.
Ben Davidson's theory is that we are most certainly past due, and his timeline of events would be roughly 20 years from now. Although he makes room for the weakened magnetosphere vs solar activity, which he posts updates on every day on X/youtube. So you'll always be up to date on recent sunspots/flares and their implications.
The guy's post that I put in my original post here is not necessarily suggesting a timeline. Only that the spinning top, so to speak, has now been sent into its final cycle. I don't know what he proposes in terms of timelines.
Ultimately, what I believe is that the ECDO theory is the standout. Ethical Skeptic belabors the point that his model is not a doomsday fearmongering model. He specifically detests fear mongering because he thinks there are powers that be that feed on such fear.
While I tend to follow his research, above everyone else, this recent stuff about our polar motion has me in a state of grave concern tbh.

We talking a magnetic shift or rotational?

So........ mallards are coming back to the marsh?.........or maybe?

The ECDO theory / the upcoming event is primarily a physical rotational shift (a rapid True Polar Wander event), not merely a magnetic one.
In this event, the earth's mantle and core decouple. Our dense core will freely wobble until it finds its new lock, for the next few centuries. The mantle shifts OVER it, and finds its new position.

There is zero reason to spend a second of worry about any of this. If it happens everyone is f'ed. Its not something you can prepare for and probably not something youd actually want to survive if it did

Correct. The west coast will be freezing cold. As we move northeast, the warmth will be more and more tolerable.
Why if the tilt and relationship to the sun is the same, all we are talking about is magnetic field shift, correct?

Okay, everyone dies then. Got it!

This is mostly true. Although, I do tend to enjoy being alive and not violently killed.

How much more in taxes do I need to send to prevent this?

Already been answered. None of these scientists proposing these theories are subsidized.

So, basically, we're looking a range of occurrence of between the year 2325-3325.
So, at the earliest, my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grand kids would be alive to see this.

Correct me if I’m wrong, The further the poles move from center of axis, the closer to civilization charged electrons from CME get pulled into the earth, thus increasing the chance of catastrophic damage to our electric grid if we get a carrington level solar storm.
