Unbelievably, stupid life decisions have consequences. Nothing in life is free, everyone able-bodied have opportunities.

[quote]Monstrous unemployment checks, monstrous stimulus checks and free rent.

So somebody please explain to me why all the crab king restaurants are killing it.[/quotequo

And hotels.

Hotels have been overrun with idiots that have never traveled, have unrealistic expectations, cause major scenes if they don't get their way, and dress in a way that makes Wal Mart customers look like high fashion. And they think non smoking rooms/hallways don't apply to them, especially if it is Marijuana.

Imagine people who made a complete living off of rentals. Jimmy in the vid said landlords were finding loopholes and evicted still-- but that still leaves them with an empty rental or if lucky someone that pays their rent.

Also: only the favored Uncle JoBama banks were offering true forbearance. My mortgage company made it clear that if you showed proof you were distressed because of covid you could not make any payments for 6 mos-BUT at the end of the 6mos you owed it all.

I never had to use it thank God. But the housing crisis we are getting ready to have; will make the 2008 one look like candy land.

I think it’s atrocious that an eviction moratorium was in place at all.

Made sense from March through May of last year when the government was forcing you to stay at home. Now it doesn’t though.

Due to the enhanced unemployment, people preferred to sit at home and make money.

They spent money on lots of shite they didn't need because they didn't need to pay rent.

They couldn't get evicted. Thus, because of stress of the pandemic, they spent money on things they didn't need but wanted.

The democrats cry and say you would prevent a poor family from buying a big TV to make their families isolation during the pandemic tolerable.

And I say if they couldn't afford that and rent and food, yes. People survived with black and white TVs.

People need to take ownership of their lives. And part of that returns with people having to pay rent.

Their are millions of unfilled jobs out there.

People will be alright but they will have to work.

Those that truly can't I'm fine with, but there were many taking advantage of this.

It never made sense to make the property owner pay your bills.

Good. These kids who come out here with no job to get high, ski, and vote far left need to go back East to parent's basement and learn some financial responsibility.

Where, exactly, did all the money go? Because the ones on unemployment were making more money than ever before in most states.

Ya, right bro. Cost of capital is half the inflation rate right now. This foreclosed homes are going to get gobbled up by individual investors. Lower end properties are the only thing around the cities that have decent cap rates.
