Then give us some opinions on this board by the right that you find loathsome.

I can only imagine the hue and cry from the left about "hostile environment" for students if a conservative professor shat out something as vile as this.

And I would AGREE with them. THAT is the difference between folks like me and the bulk of the left.

A great many grades in college classes are not ABSOLUTE right wrong. It ain't like the answers to an Algebra problem. When one writes a paper, their grade is based on the judgement of the professor and there is no goddamned way this professor could possibly grade in an unbiased manner if a paper had a non-liberal bent.

Love how Liberals continue to SCREAM don't stereotype / lump together individuals while doing the same with all Christians and Republicans. Heck, they are doing it in this thread.

That's why I always wrote the paper geared toward what the professor wanted to hear. Pander to your audience.

I never did that. I wrote and spoke the truth. If I suffered the consequences, so be it. It's called standing on your principles. If I had it to do over again I would still do the same.

Click on the "Political Talk" link. Read about half of all posts there. Read as someone repeats a paranoid lie they ripped from a chain email or Limbaugh, or makes it abundantly clear that the only news they read comes from Drudge and Breitbart.

Read, for instance, as a bunch of ignoramuses who don't understand grammar misuse grammar as they complain about the grammar of an article: LINK

The above thread is a microcosm of the universal folly found 'round these parts.

If the opinions expressed by this professor are any indication of your average ivory tower academic, then yeah, they are pretty loathsome.

I got it. You're not into critical thinking. I recommend the OT lounge.

Eh, I knew what I believed and I wasn't going to change any minds. I just took the easy A and kept going. I only had to do it in the required English class. All my upper level classes were science so no need to pander.

Professors are allowed to have political views and express them just like students.

A good professor would teach objectivity to inspire thought, instead of pushing one viewpoint. That is a detriment to learning.
