I want full blown dystopia in every liberal shithole in the US. I’m talking no flights in or out blow the bridges and cut the power. In 5 years we’d be 100% self sustaining world power for next 400 years

My wife and I are holding out on a vacation property purchase waiting for a crash. In that sense, I hope there is a recession.

A recession is not good but I have no problem with the Democrats getting the blame for it at the polls in November.

My God, it's even longer? Does this bitch do anything besides eat, drink lattes, and

OK - I read the posts just above mine after I posted it and looked at that video of her 'day'

When I was about her age, I was working for McDonnell Aircraft at NASA in support of the first Apollo mission. We got 30 minutes for lunch, and 90% of us ate a bag lunch at our desks while working. We were all 'on salary' and as such, this thing called 'overtime' was not a thing. We were expected to accomplish the task before leaving. Our reward was to be able to keep our jobs the next week.

It was not at all abnormal to work for a couple of weeks without a day off, and more than 10 hr days.

Later in life, they began to actually pay some 'overtime' but it never equalled the actual number of hours you actually worked = you were given a few hours that you could 'charge' to OT. Even later they began to pay bonuses which were always based on the amount of profit made and a ranking of your contributions to that success was deemed to be. Never much more than a few days pay.

And I was happy - making great progress for the nation as well as 'science' itself.

When I see what passes for 'work' these days it makes me sad for all mankind. This is the road to degradation of spirit - where nothing happens except pursuit of carnal pleasure.

You lived long enough to see the Fourth Turning.

You were born at the end of this chart and you'll likely unfortunately die at the end of it too.

Yep - this is the message I try to get across to my kids and grandkids -

Fortunately the one grandkid who has all three of my great-grandkids is almost as conservative as I am. And a whole lot smarter.

The other four are lost causes.

I'd feel good about their chances if only we could get past this midterm with fair elections.

However that cannot fully happen because the state of the media propaganda has been too heavy for too long for the possibility of having an informed electorate <== should we ever have that, I'd be totally satisfied to accept that. But now, with the lies and propaganda that is accepted as fact, combined with the deliberately distorted electoral process, I have zero confident that any kind of acceptable result can come from it.

Fight the good fight for as long as you can.

Nope, these people will simply beg for those that created the recession, government, to bail them out.

The podcast guys dig more into that vapid chick. She’s a marketing intern at LinkedIn. Her base pay is $24 an hour but bonuses and shite bump her up to 70K a year. You never see her do any actual work

Also how is she not a porker. All she does is eat and drink. I guess you can still rent a place in Chicago that’s not in a war zone on her salary. I would guess she probably has a roommate though.

If there's one thing I've learned about people is that they lie like rugs. She probably makes $20 an hour to be someone's gofer, so she has multiple roommates. The social media exhibitionism is just modern day panhandling.

I don't think I could ever say I'm pro-recession. I want people to see my point of view, but I don't want the economy to crash to make it happen.

Here’s a reply video to this… and I’m trying to determine if it’s satirical or real… it seems real, and holy shite, these people have not talked to anyone in years outside of their bubble: Mr. Rich this is not true. We in tech, even at TikTok, work grueling schedules

That grueling schedule? Working 9 to 4 that includes dog petting, complimentary donuts, and a fricking photo booth. My God, I mean what a burden. I hope that one is satirical, but it’s too well produced for me to think so.

Wow, what a trooper. So brave and heroic. He’s the modern day equivalent of these guys:

I kinda agree. I want leftists to suffer the consequences of their shitty policies and beliefs. Democrats need to pay us reparations for the pain they’ve inflicted on this once great nation.

I’ve had a change of heart and am looking forward to that dumpster fire. Unlike Star Wars, I don’t think Lord of the Rings is assailable. It’s going to produce lots of great memes and watching it be the biggest bomb of all time is going to be hilarious.
