You can't bullshite and say you're all about a President that is all about "no war" and then promote him when he goes to war

1. Nobody has gone to war yet.

2. Anybody who believed the "no new wars" nonsense and didn't realize it was just campaign speak is too big a moron to get involved in this discussion anyway. His first term Trump bombed Syria two different times and illegally assassinated an Iranian general. Anybody who thought he was all of a sudden going to turn into Jimmy Carter is just an idiot.

3. And thank God for that. You populist numbskulls have let Huckster Carlson lead you to believe that we need a limp-wristed pussy in the WH. We don't.

4. If Iran gets a nuclear weapon it won't sit in the silos for 24 hours before they launch it at Israel and Israel launches one back. If you think preventing that scenario makes "no sense," then you aren't qualified to discuss this times two.

Fair. I hope that remains true.

Me too, but if Iran doesn't behave we need to lower the hammer.

Because seriously, if you want to avoid war—the worst kind of war—they cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

They will use them.

Fine effort, and I can clearly tell your level of confidence in it, which is great, unless you’re not exactly right. I can’t imagine most people considering those examples you touted above as “wars.” I would be one of those people, of course. The root of nearly all of our most “unresolvable” disputes and conflicts is a very serious and consequential misunderstanding, or misinterpretation, or flat out wrong definitions and meanings of the key terms and concepts involved. Just one fella’s opinion here.

Yeah, well, me either.

Good thing for me I never claimed they were.

Meh. In the same bullet point you pretty much called anyone who believed Trump’s “campaign speak” in saying “no new wars” an idiot, obviously insinuating that Trump was not being genuine with that campaign statement, then immediately in the very next sentence cited the two examples that I mentioned. I think it’s rather clear that you were asserting “Of course he doesn’t mean it when he says ‘no new wars’……look no further than Syria and the assassination of yadda yadda.” If that’s not what you meant, then you’re confused and confusing.

What I meant was (only) slightly nuanced, which is obviously beyond your capabilities.

I'm not spending time explaining it to you. I don't care enough to do so.

We aren’t invading anyone. We are going to use our overwhelming air power to force them into submission or at least weaken them enough for other internal forces in Iran to take command.
Trump doesn’t play the old school regime change game.

You need to work on your nuance. Pro tip:it’s kinda hard to nail the nuance while trying to be condescending at the same time. You aren’t going to pull that off as you would hope.

Excellent. Thanks for those pearls of wisdom.

I guess I will give up hope, then. Thanks for being honest with me about my hopes and dreams.

I feel ya. We know Trump isn't afraid to actually swing that saber. Dude is boss level with a bucket of balls.

So why is he about to invade Iran? Doesnt seem like an anti war move.

Iran has been at war with us since 1979. We will not invade, the populist of Iran will take over after we annihilate the Iran navy and the IRGC.

Iran as you like it is done.

He is an anti war president. It's called peace through strength.
