People have been off and married at 13+ for eons.
This arbitrary line drawing at 18 is very recent. Like in the last 50 years.
99.9% of human historical existence did not operate under this new standard. Churches have sanctioned young teens getting married for centuries in Jesus' name.
So now you want to say that all those people over all those centuries were immoral, but at the same time modern same sex marriage is?

Moore is clearly still the frontrunner because, by and large, Republicans don't care about voting for rapists. But the few of them that do have a modicum of conscience will probably at least just stay home, so the idea that this scandal is going to net him MORE voters is hilarious, even for Alabama.

Q1. Age of consent laws, moral or cultural?
A1. Cultural.
Q1. What is a reasonable age if consent?
A2. 14 or 15 as it is in many European nations and has been for the majority of U.S. history.
Q3. Are you OK with non consensual rape and sexual assault?
A3. Absolutely not. Jail 'em.
Q4. If if is proven that Roy Moore committed non consensual rape or sexual assault do you excuse him?
Q5. Absolutely not, see answer 3 above.
Does that help clear it up?
