"The Talk"
Many blacks love to talk about "the talk" they have to have with their kids.... implying racism.
What about "the talk" many of us have to have with our kids about being extremely cautious around groups of blacks? It sounds bigoted and racist to even write that, but we see the stats and the endless videos of "knock out games" and mobs of blacks beating the hell out of individual non-blacks they have isolated. When I was young, I used to not be concerned about going into most black areas of Atlanta. (Some parts just were never safe) But, now, I don't want to go anywhere near that city.
It is sad.

I don’t think black people are really scared by police that much either. There is a natural level of intimidation of police held by all people. Combine that with black people being taught since birth how evil police are, and you get a very unhealthy brew.

It's obviously not based on facts, but at this point there's part of me that can't blame the average black American that is only barely listening to "news" and all they're hearing is that the world is coming to an end and black celebrities are talking about how they're being hunted.
They've created a moral panic...it's like watching a cultural mob, but instead of escalating acts of violence (though we have that as well) we have escalating claims of racial danger. It's like the most dangerous game of "telephone" in history. And it's why average, decent white people are looking around right now wondering what world they're living in, because essentially none of the claims being made about America in 2020 or their place in it are true.
It's so bad that I do occasionally sit back and ask myself, "Wait...is it really this bad? am I wrong?" Once I get past the obviously emotional bullshite the answer is always, "Of course not" but the strength of the tide is so strong that even I feel it.
They're wrong, but I can see how the lure to believing this nonsense is hard to pass up. Especially if there is a tangible benefit for espousing it.
