So you have no response to the fact that slavery here in this country was not a form of institutional racism? Was or was slavery not a form of institutional racism?

You're dodging. I don't know if you've noticed, but most people don't live in the past unless they have some personality disorder. Just my opinion...others may feel differently.

where is the racism in this? Are you being racist by claiming that only minorities experience poverty and bad living conditions? You should get out more, racist.

Why don't you work on developing a sound argument as to why institutional racism does not exist? Because you have yet to defend your op.

Slavery here in this country was a means to labor and had no racism as it's basis.

False. The area right by Exxon in Baton Rouge for example was once one of the nicest parts of town. Then crime started infiltrating, and folks moved out.

link? Don't use Flint, Michigan (800lb man) as the end all be all.

institutional racism? How? Do tell.

law enforcement profiling

Been debunked nationally, by the FBI.

Truth isn't racist. If one segment of society is apt to violence and crime, then policing those areas is not racist.

To be clear, I tend to think claims of institutional racism are overstated, but not that it is a myth altogether. My issue was with the logic. The europe not being a country comment was just to be a dick.

I think we as a country are too quick to label classism as racism. I dont know what more a government can do to combat racism beyond equal protection under the law which, to my knowledge, exists.

bullshite. What are you basing that claim on and what is your metric that--in your mind--confirms racism?

Yes there is. What is of a higher degree of racism?- not letting colored people using the same bathrooms (70 years ago), hanging a few colored folks for being in the wrong part of town? (probably 100 years ago.) OR turning your nose up at "black people" because you feel they all live like uncivilized degenerates.

I would say racism, while it still exists, is at a lower degree than it was even 50 years ago-- -and it also exists towards white people.. shocker, right?

White immigrants have always faced hostility from white natives. It's in human DNA. That's why the Irish, Jews, Italians, etc. all faced discrimination when they came to America. They learned to assimilate based on merit.

OTOH, whites like Gypsies have never been accepted. Because they're scum.

Here are few facts.
1. The prison population is made up of majority black males despite being like 6% of the population
2. The leading drugs that are abused in this country is opiods and herion.
3. Crack cocaine users/sellers make up the majority of drug charges in the prison.

You're are getting destroyed in this thread.

Fun fact: Louisiana had the most blacks that owned slaves.

I also saw you ignored the comment about the Irish slaves.

Which part are you referring to? Same laws apply to everyone.
You probably want to say that because more minorities are in jail.
They decided to try and take short cuts, and go after easy money, that they don't have to work for. That is what happens. It's not racist.
