Like I said. You are disingenuous. I wasn’t defending chattel slavery where people were kidnapped from their homes and owned as property without rights or dignity.

So slaves weren't beaten by their masters or or other slaves? They could just leave when they wanted?
Spin away as needed but what you're saying is total bullshite and s very rosey colored picture. It's definitely not what most think of slavery as there were many avenues of getting there such as being captured in war....and you certainly then lost your property and right to your own life and could be abused or even fought for entertainment.

No he painted s picture that helped his world view stay together. Roman slavery definitely was different but to paint it differently is silly. Owning people Is wrong period.

That's the whole point. The fact that men will look and fantasize and indulge in lust when women dress that way—guaranteed—is exactly why the guy was right.
I think he did absolutely no good by confronting the women with it, but that's exactly why he was correct in what he said.
Modern women are a mystery to me. They want to dress in such a way as to call as much attention to their sexuality as possible, then complain that men only see them as sex objects.
You gotta pick one and go with it. Don't give me, "My eyes are up here," when your eyes are not what you are accentuating.

I do tend to view them as sex objects and I won't apologise for it.
I enjoy when they dress the way they do.

Absolutely.
My point is that you shouldn't have to apologize for it when they actively facilitate it, and they do.
I've tried to explain this to my wife and daughter ever since this yoga pants fad started. It's fine if you want to wear something entirely form-fitting over your crotch, pelvis, and butt that leaves virtually nothing to the imagination in public, but if you do, you need to understand that there are going to be men wherever you go that are sexualizing you in their minds. If that's o.k. with you, go for it. But don't have any illusions that it's not happening, all the time.
They act like they think that's gross but they still do it, which means they either don't believe me or they don't really think it's as gross as they act like they do and on some level they enjoy it.
It's like me wearing dirty, ill-fitting, ragged clothes and shoes everywhere I go and then getting mad when people think I might be homeless.

I'm a young guy in my early 20s. Women in my age group tend to post the most explicit images of themselves on social media. It's women from all backgrounds - I'm friends with girls who go to universities like Harvard and they still post the most explicit form fitting photos on the internet.
I'm not complaining but they can't then turn around and complain that men sexualize them/don't really respect them as much.
In any case, I ignore their complaints and enjoy the view.

It is a little puzzling to me that women wear that stuff saying it's not confining to them but the first thing many of them do when getting home for the rest of the day is getting out of their bras.
