When imdb had boards, it was fun on their poli board because it was a bigger blend.

The libs got it closed when it became obvious Obama was fricking everything up under the sun and it was drawing heat on the board.

This is it, hoss. Sure, you can go to the chans, but posts that resonate will be intermixed with p0rn and gore. In my opinion, PT is the best conservative site we have. The moderation here is pretty lenient for the most part compared to other conservative sites I visit.

(Hey Chicken et al... I look forward to my premium status after such a glowing review).

Back when, Drudge and FR were it. Every conspiracy and insider info/research known. If Jim would just allow advertising and stop having to add all that crap to post an article they could be it again...

Another site of old is the GOP Briefing Room. They went full mod power trip insane.

I just looked them up holy crap I recognize screen names LINK of those that left FR pissed off...

What was the other one that sprang off from FR? Liberty something. Liberty Post?

sorry, but "conservative patriots" don't vote 3rd party in the most important election of our lifetime.

Yeah. I went there for the first time in months a couple days ago and the first thing I saw was “Freep-a-thon.” And I chuckled. Though I did throw Jim a few twenny dolla bills over the years.

Also the site goes down then says give money

And with the sense of community I have found here, I would not even be interested in a national board.

Don't get too impressed, they just want a free stay to the islands...that's why all these cretins are nice

Nah...there were a bunch of sites...

Some not recommended to go to until the chans arrived.
The up and up ones were into alien stuff.

Tried new platform Parler. Doesn’t flow well for me, feels clunky. We are on my go-to favorite hangout.

I meant Trixie posting there and getting Monica to go public. Andrew Breitbart when he was unknown. Keyes lead campaigner types of insiders. The chan type people were the shills that mixed into FR and swayed the primary elections. The Chans of today are all worthless role players and deep state shills with despots mixed in.

20 years ago in the early days of online politics forums/blogs, National Review and its Corner Blog were out front, along with Instapundit. The Corner was necessary daily Conservative reading.

National Review Online never changed with the times, keeps their nose in the air now, and spends 90% of their time trying to milk money from the few readers they have left.

Instapundit is still trucking. He’s been basically tweeting since before Twitter was a thing.

Not message boards per se, but close.

Besides here, which is 90:10 conservative:liberal posters (which is fine for debate-niks & diverse-take trolls that can make for interesting discourse),

Yep, this is what we do here...take a few libs/progs...or should I say suffer a few, for the beat down and our entertainment! I love this board!

All forums that aren't heavily censored...always lean right.

There are too few of them in existence now. This one...and I'm sure r/the_donald has an independent site somewhere, unless it was shut down. I don't know the site addy for td, I've not been to it. I'm content here.

An interesting question would be why are their so few 'acceptable' conservative forums...

Is it that the ideas here are not very popular? That they are popular bit the followers don't enjoy questioning and discussing them? That they don't like reading and writing?

This board is powered by 30-50 posters that make 30 plus posts per day...where is the rest?

You think we’re allowed to discuss our ideas on lets say... /r/politics??

No, your question isn’t at all interesting as you don’t appear to have any real sense of the amount of online censorship that occurs because snowflakes get triggered.

While those terms (snowflake, triggered) may be over used, its the most accurate description of making online posts from a conservative view point. Where do you think the cancel culture came from?

ETA: my post you replied to was meant tongue in cheek, by the way.
