Trump's base is not the same as the traditional Republican base.
Trump can literally say anything and he will not lose his base.
I doubt things like this will even register with the traditional base, except for those perennially online.
If Trump is going to lose it likely won't be because of any specific policy issues.

Examples of pandering to the left Please!

President Trump just announced he will vote in support of Amendment 4 in Florida, which permits abortions on babies up until birth, without restriction.
What are your thoughts?
Trump said 6 weeks isn't enough time. Heartbeat starts at 5 weeks.

Why should I have to pay for that?
Maybe gets him elected and is cheaper than New Green Deal.

Dude got arrested & was shot in the face
if any republican can’t vote for him because he is trying to expand his base then they need to touch some grass

What is with this new theme? "Is Trump losing his base?" What polls have suggested that?
As pro-life as I am, I know regardless of what he says, my issues will advance farther with him than Harris.

States issue now bub. Not in Florida, not my decision.

You are finding out you are too far right. Just join the coalition and be happy.
What about abortion? You're good with abortion up until birth?
Maybe I am too far right but I think killing babies is evil and that regulation privatized insurance companies is going to lead to higher cost and worst care but like RR said "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"
Maybe your right, maybe I was born in the wrong generation

Some people need to get their head out of their arse
Would you prefer Trump or Kamala fricking Harris? People need to start looking at the big picture of what this election means

This is just an indisputable fact at this point.
What this could do, depending on exposure, is lose some voters. They won't vote for Kamala but it could depress turnout.

If THIS is what is depressing voters, then we deserve everything coming to us as a country

Honestly, the IVF freebie pissed me off.
Why should I have to pay for that?
Offer child tax credits or incentives to have more children with tax cuts but typically people don't have to do IVF until it's absolutely necessary, the success rate is low and the cost is incredibly high.

So, now they are going to vote Kamala?

You don't understand why people that are staunchly pro-life would be upset that the guy they would vote for is supporting being able to abort babies at NINE MONTHS, tax payerfunded?
There are people that really are genuinely pro life and could live with 6 weeks or even 12. But 9 months??
They won't go for that.
My single issue is the Supreme Court so I will go vote for whomever the REpublicans put up.
