It’s over land
England messed up both these countries during and after WWII. They gave them their independence, but not all the borders/boundaries were negotiated correctly. Hindu’s and Muslims lived together in what was the British colony of India. In the 40’s they separated the colony into 2 separate countries. A lot the Muslims living in India were forced out and most Hindu’s living in Pakistan were forced out.
In the 50’s India helped Bangladesh secede from Pakistan.
England did the same thing with Israel and Palestine.
