These liberals just can’t grasp that now there is a reaction to your actions. Almost as if they’ve never experienced that in their lives. Oh wait….

I’m glad citizens are being forced to see that with US money, comes certain responsibilities and it’s been said repeatedly.. they’ve got over 50 billion reasons they can simply not take our money.. the simple fact that they won’t do that and will sue shows how greedy and elite they really feel

I disagree. I believe what I see. What I saw was that our votes do matter when Trump was elected, despite people saying similar to what your saying now.
Don't get me wrong, I understand your disgust and share it, but to adopt a loser attitude damn sure won't help the situation. We should be reminding everyone around us that we have the power to take back control of our government and its our duty to vote for better congressional representation. Trump is paving the way, but its going to take more rhan him.

I was promised Epstein arrests, Russiagate justice, and a deep state museum, but I all I got was administration shakedowns of foreign students and universities for our greatest ally.

I get why everyone is out for blood now, but payback on some of these things is going to be a b----.

And I'm sure they pay guest speakers very well. Kickbacks basically

Things I’d like to see, Trump taking a wrecking ball to Harvard.

It is aways a good day when arrogant ivy leaguers get a set of giant balls placed on their foreheads.

Government overreach at its best.
How does the government not already know what students have visas at Harvard??!?

Harvard is breaking the law, discriminating, and thumbing their nose at the Supreme Court. They absolutely can lose their tax exempt status by doing that.
Trump has made yall cheer for discrimination. What a bunch of idiots.

I've not really kept up with this one. Don't need a ton of detail, but roughly what did they do originally and what did they do to ignore USSC?

Affirmative action admission standards and DEI hiring practices.

We want the federal government digging into students disciplinary records at a private institution?
Trump may have the best intentions but he's growing the government at record pace

I'm ready for the downvotes, but both public and private universities should be able to apply for research grants that the federal government offers and they qualify for. They key is to write the qualifications so that they reward open research and not research that is modeled to get desired results.

If I remember correctly, an Asian sued because the average required test scores for Asians is significantly higher than blacks, and won. The Ivy's manipulated their requirements to get the same results.

What are you talking about? That’s not what the IRS is doing.

quote:According to Grok A.I., the top 15 universities receiving Federal funding for research and development programs (many of these lead to a lot of the technology gains made in defense, medicine, energy, fusion, space systems, and life sciences) is $56.122 billion over the years of 2020 - 2024.
Harvard is officially a private university and should not be receiving government funding at all.
That's just 15 schools. Here they are, and the federal dollars each has received by year, with the first set of numbers being the year 2020 and the last number for each being the five-year total for each one.
*(in million$)
Johns Hopkins University: 1,839 + 1,950 + 2,056 + 2,100 + 2,150 = 9,095
University of Washington: 950 + 960 + 1,000 + 1,050 + 1,100 = 5,060
University of Michigan: 850 + 1,000 + 1,050 + 1,100 + 1,150 = 5,150
University of California, San Diego: 780 + 800 + 850 + 900 + 950 = 4,280
University of California, San Francisco: 686 + 700 + 750 + 800 + 850 = 3,786
Harvard University: 600 + 625 + 650 + 675 + 700 = 3,250
Stanford University: 580 + 600 + 620 + 650 + 680 = 3,130
University of Pittsburgh: 570 + 580 + 600 + 620 + 650 = 3,020
Duke University: 550 + 562 + 580 + 600 + 620 = 2,912
Massachusetts Institute of Technology: 520 + 550 + 570 + 600 + 630 = 2,870
University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill: 500 + 542 + 600 + 907 + 950 = 3,499
University of California, Los Angeles: 490 + 510 + 530 + 550 + 570 = 2,650
Columbia University: 470 + 480 + 500 + 520 + 540 = 2,510
Yale University: 460 + 480 + 500 + 520 + 540 = 2,500
University of Maryland (incl. Baltimore & College Park): 450 + 460 + 480 + 500 + 520 = 2,410
I wonder how much money, in total, is spent every year on R&D grants to the entire system of universities in the USA? This is just the top 15.
I asked about LSU. The answer?
quote:
The estimated federal funding for research and development received by Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge from 2020 to 2024 is approximately $645 million.
