Yes, if they release a virus months before the election that results in key swing states changing their voting laws to allow rampant mail in balloting while simultaneously suppressing evidence that Hunter Biden took money from foreign companies/governments showing proof that he’s corrupt, then he can definitely win.
Trump plays great to his base. He is a complete turn off to swing voters. He will lose the general election (again). And we'll be singing the same song, third verse, in 2028 when ya'll are sucking him off at his campaign rallies. Republicans need to wake up if we ever want to win an election again.

He did roll back regulations by EO. Not sure whether any Republican would have been as aggressive as he was on that, to be fair. But then again, they might have been...because Obama was so aggressive pushing in the opposite direction.
But Trump's toxic ego certainly did no favors for the Republican Party as a whole and I think cost a significant number of seats in Congress. Then again—to be fair—I'm not sure how much that matters anymore as long as you maintain enough of a minority to block some stuff. Congress seems to simply exist to fight for public entertainment these days. They don't do much else.
So i guess Trump was a net positive and offered some things that any Republican running in 2016 would have offered...but not by much.

This is bullshite. People poked fun at the whole boot thing, and certainly his campaign strategy was rightly questioned, but conservatives on here never wavered on Ron as the future. Sure, we dragged some of his more cultish loyalists for acting like coked up jehovahs witnesses, but Ron was treated respectfully.
If anyone deserves scorn, it’s the Ron sycophants that trashed Trump every minute of every day on here. The ones that have already admitted they are too butthurt to support the R nominee in the general

Trump deserves it.
And he refuses to apologize for COVID, the Cares Act, etc.
Own his failures, apologize for his treatment of good conservatives, publicly condemn Laura Loomer, Brendan Dilley, Roger Stone, Gavin Wax, etc etc.
Do those things and he has earned some unity. I hope he does them.
