The only thing entertaining is you melting down over a JD Vance Poll thread with no mention of DeSantis in the Title or Post but claiming the thread was started because of Ron.

The entertainer entertains.
Thank you. Tips?
Did you hear how tall Ron’s three year child is?

JDV debate performance was the clear turning point in Harris vs Trumpy.
We had been on a month-long skid until that night and then it was clear sailing until the media tried to turn the MSG event into something out of sheer desperation

Much different then running on the MAGA platform and Trump's endorsement to win Governor of Florida. Then claiming you were never MAGA when running for President.
This is what soured me on Ron. At that moment, it was clear that he was a phony who would say what he needed to to win. He wasn't trustworthy at that point.
For better or worse, Trump tells you how he feels without sugarcoating it.
As to Desantis' comments about needing principles, this is just a tired trope used by the TDS crowd to make themselves feel better for losing to Trump.
The truth is that Trump has principles. They just aren't the rigid rules of progressivism or conservatism. His principle is to make America the strong, prosperous, vibrant country we all know it could be.
The redcoats in the Revolution were principled. They lined up in a row in an open field and made themselves easy targets because it was how gentlemen held to their principles even in times of war.
Anti-Trump conservatives are the same way. They do the same thing the same way because their principles tell them this is the proper way to do. The principles of the British held up quite well. It gave them a global empire as enemy armies fled the battlefield from their voluminous volleys, inspiring visions of Goliath as they stood strong and proud in the face of the enemy.
Until one day they didn't. The kingsmen were unable to adapt. And a bunch of farmers and merchants used their principled fighting style against them. And here we are, 250 years later, still desperately following our principles instead of just using them for guidance.
A fool sees a problem and says we have to solve it the tried and true, principled way.
A wise man sees a problem, applies his principles to the problem, verifies the solution, and then either proceeds or adjusts his plan.
The fool then gets angry and calls the wise man unprincipled.

The ticket will Or SHOULD be
JD VANCE PREZ
TRUMP JR OR ERIC TRUMP VP’s
I think Eric is more Presidential for the common man/eyes watching and more refined.
But Donald Jr. DGAF & I’m cool with that too.
But no matter what, we need to keep the Trump sons as the backup to JD & then either one take it over after JD.
By the time that REIGN takes over and we turn this around, the communist will be set back a century!

Trump has given JD more spotlight than even I had hoped for. I've posted I wanted JD to handle all the domestic visits/ photo-ops for a 2028 primer while Trump did all the international tangos with head-of-states. JD has done both domestic & international interactions so far. I can't recall a VP ever being this involved & active, particularly this early.
It’s apparent Trump is grooming JD to carry the MAGA torch.
JD is also a better communicator than Trump. I love Trump and he is hilarious with his one liners and jokes but he sucks at outlining policy details

You idiot. You are the only one making threads about him. FFS. Stupid MFer. Like it’s not obvious.
To be fair, you Ron guys are overly emotional in this thread.
What I took way from OP was just how big of a lead JD has over the rest of the field. That’s a pretty massive gap.
It’s still way too early to put too much weight into this poll, but I think everyone can agree that Vance has exceeded any expectations they could’ve hoped for when he was announced as VP.
I think pitting Vance vs Desantis right now is shortsighted for the party to be bickering about. Since it is going on, let’s play.
I like Desantis a lot and he’s done amazing governing Florida. I did think it was a bad move for him to run vs Trump in the primary. I didn’t stop liking him because of it but when I hear shortsighted, the very definition I think of now is Desantis running vs Trump in the primary. It made zero sense as far as the regaining power from the far left. That whole primary was just odd.
Ron’s wife was the driving force behind him deciding to run. I really think RDS was perfectly happy running Florida until his final term was up and then focus and preparing for 2028.
Now that we see this push for Casey to run for governor of Florida, it brings up a lot of questions. Maybe it’s always been her political aspirations to follow her husband as governor of Florida and good for her if that’s the case. I don’t know though. To me it seems like someone who wants to hold onto that power despite what’s best to continue building on the momentum we’ve seen made by the right. I’m not talking about Ron, strictly Casey. I believe it’s an ideological battle with in the Republican Party.
I still like Ron and will 100% support him if he is the candidate in 2028. That being said, if it’s between Vance and Desantis, I’m supporting Vance. Yes, I know he hasn’t actually governed anything nearly as much as Ron has and Ron is a proven, seasoned governor. He has a lot of great results as well. A very long list. I just don’t know if RDS can be the face and lead the party post Trump. Vance certainly has that and whether he can be effective at governing is yet to be seen.
I think this Casey stuff has been a not so good look. Through no fault of Ron though. Right or wrong that’s how this is being perceived. RDS was perfectly content running his great state of Florida until the end of his term and then prepping for 2028. Just a huge blunder and looks like a missed opportunity at this moment in history. A bunch of assholes advising and pushing him to do something he didn’t want to do.

Stumping for his wife to be his replacement as Florida Governor seems pretty swampy.
