Don't mess with Buisson's money.

I just imagine that some political figures he is tied to on the West Bank May be cautiously waiting to see how this plays out.

Wonder what will come of this and his ties to the powers that be in Gretna?
They will move on. Plenty of old school juice over there, tied with the east bank.

So nobody is going to mention anything about him having downs...

She's found of selling her crappily designed & built "luxury" condos with a unique property tax strategy... That condo you were buying for 450k, give her 50k cash and then you will only pay property taxes on 400k.
I think this is pretty much every used car lot in the state that's not attached to a dealership.

That dude isn't going to prison.
He knows everyones business and all power players in Jefferson parish mostly westbank. He's got to have dirt on someone above him and he is a weasel. He will rat out anyone to save himself.

I’d say it appears he will definitely do some time.

Dude, he ain't Edwin Edwards. And Edwin Edwards went to the slammer even though people swore he never would. And he apparently isn't cooperating with prosecutors. Never good.

I agree, but the only issue he really has is the wire fraud, ( using business $ for personal use) defrauding business partners. He squares them up $ wise and he'll skate on that.
Tax fraud is fickle, i'd have to see the evidence.
Hes facing 475 years and 6million in fines. The government is being very broad in this indictment.

The probe turned up evidence that Roberts had a gambling problem, leading the feds to conduct an especially thorough inquiry as they sought to ensure he had never sold his office by doing official favors for people giving him money.
Along with examining his dealings with his landlords, the feds scrutinized a large debt Roberts owed to West Bank land baron Joseph Marcello, as well as his intercession on behalf of at least one Jefferson Parish property owner facing sanctions from the parish. Apparently, they did not find evidence that those dealings constituted a quid pro quo arrangement, and none of them are mentioned in Thursday’s indictment.
Marcello loan sharking to Roberts?

Apparently he's just a sleazy little thief who can't make do on $114,000 per year (plus whatever his side gigs earn).
Stole from a woman who hired him to manage her grass-cutting business. Misappropriated campaign funds pretty brazenly.
He reported none of it correctly to the IRS, etc., which will screw you as bad as the initial act.
The dude really seems like a basketcase. Divorced his wife, stole to buy stuff for his gold-digger second wife... liked to gamble dangerous amounts of money.
Honestly I never saw the appeal of this guy. He was like 12 when he started winning elections... WTF?

He wants to spend more time and watch his kids go down the right path. What a joke. Why file against the ag for seizing his computers and such? He's guilty. Been guilty for years.
