Why not add some context to your statement.
Carter was the worst because he was ineffective and horribly weak.
Reagan grew the debt because he had to strengthen the military and told the Soviet Union that he would spend whatever it took to crush them, which he absolutely did.

well Carter sucked with the hostages, the inflation, interest rates, gas lines.

Regan spending on the military ended the cold war. USSR realized they could not keep up with the USA because they did not have the financial ability to compete. Leaving only one super power in the world the USA.

What did Democrats have against the Carters? That was my first thought when that picture was first released. Any picture released by the government goes through several people before finally being released to the public. That picture was released to make the Carters look feeble and weak, and make the Bidens look strong and imposing.
