Here's what is going on in my local school district that has a mask mandate pushed by the female superintendent.

Elementary school with a woke female principal: Complete tyranny. Masks required at all times. So bad that parents are pulling their kids.

Middle and High schools with male principal: Whatever. Have a mask on your person just in case.

Suburban white women continue to destroy this country,

I get it and agree, but I'm not running off half cocked. guess how many attorneys are willing to start a class action suit against the school boards in Louisiana?

maybe choosing the battle was a bit wrong, more like choosing the timing. But go ahead and show us how its done big - dog!

I did. Or did you not read the entire thread?
We took our daughter out of the government indoctrinating system and enrolled her in a small private school.

I don't get why everyone is condemning school boards here in Louisiana. We have a mandate from the Governor and the various school board's own lawyers are saying that the Governor's mandate is legal under the State of Emergency.

What needs to happen is our legislators need to grow a spine and put a stop to Edward's over-reach on this and many other matters pertaining to COVID. The vaccine mandate is NOLA is beyond insane and it should not be allowed to stand. Unfortunately, JBE has the republican legislators running scared and abdicating their responsibilities to the citizens of this state.

There is not a single private school within 50 miles of where I live that is not requiring masks.

Yes. Home school or private school or MOVE.

I have lived in 8 states and have owned businesses and real estate in 4. We moved from a great little town in Southern California that was 1/3 mile to the beach. Walking distance to nice restaurants, bars and a brewery.

Moved to the farm I owned in Oklahoma because of the Marxist school board agendas. Being born and raised in rural Missouri, I had had enough.

Have you?

I'm with you El Segundo. Tried to talk my wife into moving to SD from CO about three years ago when acreage was dirt cheap. The differential in price between CO and SD at that time meant we could have almost paid cash when we sold our CO home. Not anymore, that place is booming.

Back on topic, no masks in SD and kids are doing just fine.

My (young) niece drew a self-portrait of herself last week. In the drawing, she was wearing a mask. My sister & BIL decided at that point they were done.

They’re unsure where they’ll go from here or what they’ll do; but they know they’re not sending her back.

Wait, you're serious? Jesus christ you snowflakes are going down in flames.

I feel fricked up in my head knowing my child is sitting in class with a goddamn face cover restricting her breathing. I feel like I cant breath because of it. This is all fricked up.

If the kid is very young just comply. In HS breaking the rules can be a lot of fun. And there will be no punishment as long as your are smarter than the principal. In New Iberia that was no problem.

I’m happy to engage you in this conversation, but I genuinely have no idea what your comment/response to me means.

Young children are no less human than are older kids and/or adults.
Lacking the developmental ability to verbally articulate their frustrations shouldn’t equate to ignoring their very valid responses.
