I wouldn't put it past our Intel to have staged this kidnapping, a la Gretchen Whitmer so Biden can swoop in for the easy save and grab positive headlines.
5 years ago I would have thought such an idea laughable and conspiratorial. Russiagate changed everything for me.

Another hint….. look up what happened just a year ago in Nigeria.
Oh you mean the country that already has a USSF presence?
LOL at you for thinking it was ever an option for the military to go in and get these people. Nor should it be, unless it is like the situation in Nigeria where our assets are already substantially in place.
These idiots went to a lawless shithole on their own. The US government does not need to spend tens of millions of dollars in a rescue operation. They will find some charity to pay the ransom and that will be that.

That’s it? That’s the last of your response? I noticed you left off some key things I asked you about. Step on back over and try it.
What happened in October of 2020 that renders your post wrong? What is one of the primary things Delta Force responds to? Cmon. You can do it.

I don't care enough to research the dude in Nigeria, and I don't care about your OMLandshark-esque position on this issue. The government and military shouldn't spend a dime going to get these people, and I cannot imagine believing that they should.

Wait…. If you didn’t research it… how did you know it was a “dude”. I didn’t say that.
Anyway, you can just trust me that your original response is 100% incorrect if you don’t.
If you would rather… research Jessica Buchanan rescue from Somalia. Also kind of devastating to your position

Priests and nuns that are probably there to prey on the orphans? Hell, not to long ago they "helped" an "orphan" that lived with both parents and thought they were just going somewhere with the helpful white people for a day.

No story or instance you bring up will change my position. The US government should not be in the business of wasting money rescuing people from their own dumbassery.
I don't even care if my generalization earlier was 100% incorrect. If we do it, we shouldn't.

I thought we had a travelers warning system. Haiti should have had a 'Don't go there for any reason!' warning about 30 years ago. If you go anyway and get killed that's your fault.

we have a group of US citizens kidnapped in Haiti. Just in case you haven’t heard during your garbage media programming download. This includes a less than year old child.

If I was chained to the floor of an Iranian prison and I heard Delta Force was in route…. I’d be laughing at those fools at the prison. Cause they about to be fricked up.
I heard one of these female charity workers who was kidnapped in Africa. In the jungle, made her do a ransom tape. Said she was deathly ill with an infection and thought she was going to die.
One night it exploded with gunfire and she curled up and waited, she thought her captors high on khat were shooting at each other. Silence...then a hand over her mouth. She said she heard the sweetest words she had ever heard "US military here to take you home maam".
Pretty cool story. Said he picked her up in one scoop and went running through the jungle, a helicopter landed, picked them up and even started working on her, they had seen the ransom tape and figured out she probably had a urinary tract infection.
