There are people who are unrelenting that Kyle is a murderer and they actually are reinforced in that notion by what they are viewing in the trial.
Then on the other hand you have people like us that are watching the exact same thing and coming away with a conclusion that is 180° opposite.

I couldn't tell but they started discussing shortly after that, whether the cop in his testimony had specified rather or not a curfew order had been issued that evening.

Except this is clearly self defense. I just mean from a standpoint of people seeing and hearing two different things
