Everybody knows the first rule to handling a gun is that they’re toys and you can point them at people without any consequence.

No, the POSSIBLE , unnecessary effect.

I think Kyle is an innocent young man, who lawfully defended his life during a event which the attackers were committing all manner of reckless acts.

Including attempted murder upon Kyle himself.

I just don't want to see some ridiculously small miscue by the Defense potentially screw that up.

Rittenhouse should've said "I wasn't being chased at that time."

The whole liberal mindset is that you should allow these thugs to beat or kill you and destroy your property.

I love how this ADA is acting like Kenosha, WI is Afghanistan. Maybe you should prosecute those burning down your city.

Look guys, yes, his attorneys could have objected a few times BUT remember something. When Kyle told his attorneys he wanted to testify, his own attorneys drilled him day and night to get him ready for cross. I think Kyle is doing a good job answering and keeping his composure.

Still want to meet that POS at a Sonic and beat him like a red headed stepchild.

Okay...NOW is the time to object as follows:

Objection, Your Honor. This is repetitive of earlier cross and cumulative. If the State has nothing new or original to ask Kyle, and is merely going to continue to harass and badger him, I think they should advise the Court.

This moron thinks you can't defend yourself until after you are shot at?

Great point. I think the issue with your original post was about the "no 17 year old doesn't have a driver's license" statement. It just came across as argumentative and trying to convict Kyle based on that.

Exactly.

Doing this, you may wound the target or you may kill the target. But either way, there is no doubt that the threat has been neutralized.

Can we wrap this up?

Bingers previous line of questioning already established that a person would be right to fear for their life when you point a gun at them.

He hammered that into Rittenhouse that Rosenbaum feared for his life and engaged further once Rittenhouse pointed the gun at him.

But in this exchange, Rittenhouse was wrong to fire on Grosskreutz because he hadn't shot Kyle.

Rittenhouse needs to be using the term "in retrospect" with a lot of this because the ADA is trying to insinuate that Rittenhouse did these things purposefully and with forethought.

"No one actually shot at you, did they?"

Well yeah, he knows this now but at the time there was no way to know that.
