Know how I know you don't know much about Jackson? I would suggest you begin with the valley campaign. Then go back and check out some of the northern newspaper stories on him. They were scared he was going to ride into Baltimore and there wasn't a person in blue who could stop him.

A successful campaign against commissary Banks isn’t exactly impressive

Which is it that leads you to belive this of me? The fact that I've never been arrested, paid my taxes, held gainful employement for 40 years, raised three well rounded children into adults? Oh, I bet it's those portraits of Lee and Jackson I have in my home office that makes me so evil. What I am is old enough to have learned that judging individuals based on present day beliefs is often a mistake.
As for Jackson, his flank attack at Chancelorsville alone puts him in rare military air.
