I don’t think its really a big deal. Bail is just meant to ensure the defendant shows up to their court date. Lemon isn’t a flight risk and it wasn’t a crime that he’d likely be facing major jail time, if any at all, to where he’d have a reason to consider going on the run.

At the Fed level the charge is not a primary factor. Other factors are the basis for calculating risk level.
They seem to have gotten it right. Not a flight risk, not a danger to the community.
