He hasn't been convicted yet. I'm not sure the appeals went through yet and the judge has not sentenced him.

You could make the dem candidate a straight white male and the republican anything else and I will never ever vote for the dem. I do not care about skin color or sex. Being a dem is an automatic disqualification because of everything that comes with it.
