Some of us here in SC have grown weary of her antics.

I liked, and followed, her for a while but she kept going off the deep end.

All? Including those that were unsubstantiated or yet to be investigated? This isn't going anywhere.

I'm ok with your parameters, but if a payment was made it needs to be public.

Nice reminder...A YEAR AGO.

The sleeping Palace Guard sycophants only remember that they MUST hate Thomas Massie for NOT being their daddy's Rubber Stamp and for also NOT being an Aipac Rubber Stamp.

Thank you for yet another reminder of Congressmen being exposed by Massie for slush fund payments and cover up looong ago.

Meanwhile, I worry about the posters chronically-afflicted with both Alzheimer's and MASSIE DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. May a cure be offered soon @ TrumpRx.

It's amazing to behold the outright refusal to turn over the information on the congressional sexual harassment settlement fund.

So, according to AI, FOIA does not apply to congress (convenient) and the settlement fund is set up by the congress accountability act and is confidential (convenient).

Appears that 18.2 million has been paid out.

I would think that the use of taxpayer funding to settle sex claims is unconstitutional spending and I would file the lawsuit asking for all the accounts and individuals.

I would argue

The U.S. Constitution, specifically Article I, Section 8, Clause 1, grants Congress the power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises, to pay the debts, and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States. This clause has been interpreted to allow Congress to spend taxpayer money on a wide range of projects, including those that are not explicitly listed in other enumerated powers. The Supreme Court has upheld this interpretation in various cases, affirming Congress's authority to appropriate funds for national purposes

Nothing gives them the authority to use our money as their own personal bank to settle claims.

It comes as Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) faces increasing scrutiny over allegations that he had an affair with one of his congressional staffers, who died after setting herself on fire last year. Mace called for Gonzales to resign after text messages were made public Monday that appeared to show Gonzales pressuring the staffer to share explicit pictures.

It will be hilarious to witness the mental gymnastics as Dims line up to prevent this measure and keep Gonzales out of trouble.

I'm sick of the corruption at every level. At some point, The People are going to have to rise up and reclaim our country from the Elite Etatist Kleptocracy.
