My uncle was on a navy ship in the Pacific War. He got wounded being strafed by jap planes. He hated Asians with a passion. Kind of funny thinking back about it when I was a kid. Anytime an Asian came on tv he went into a cussing fit.

I flew Bert Bank around when he was running for Lt. Governor. He was in the Bataan death march too. Cool guy. He had a lot of unreal stories.

I don’t understand this line of thinking. I totally hope the Germans take their country back. If German nationalism can make a comeback, so can other countries in Europe.

So glad I lived in Europe in late 70’s and early 80’s.
I was a kid and loved visiting the different countries and unique cultures. France was still awesome but Paris already had tons of muzzles even way back then. I still have a set of coins from each country I visited.

When we de-Nazified the country, we did everything we could to crush any kind of martial spirit. Throw in the guilt over the Holocaust and two world wars, the German people are still traumatized.
