The last guy, hired by Adams, had zero qualifications outside of fundraising. His own stated reason for being good for the job was that he was a "fire buff" and he liked chasing the fire engines up and down the road when he was a kid. No one had a peep to say about him, and this woman is infinitely more qualified for the position than he was.
