Gun violence is horrible and must be stopped. White males gunning people down in the streets is the biggest problem in this country because we say it is and anyone who disagrees is a racist Nazi idiot.
We don't talk or care about Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, New Orleans, etc.... because black on black gun violence isn't sexy enough even though it is by far the biggest gun problem in the country. Addressing any problems in the black community head on may cost us votes so we're happy to let those communities full of violence mire in their uneducated squalor as long as it furthers our personal political interests.
