Trump is the one who started it. Of course Massie has to fight back just as hard. Trump would do the exact same if the roles were reversed.

because Trump never makes it personal with anybody? Christie, , Trd Cruz, Rubio and Jeb bush in 2016 and Desantis in 2024 would attest to the contrary.

The issue with Massie and Rand Paul, being libertarian can be a blessing and a curse.
You are the chief of the tribe and a member gets the Pox. For the sake of the tribe you need to kill them. Is it the right thing, the libertarian thing, the ethical or moral thing to do, of course not. But for the sake of the entire tribe it is.
I can admire their stand on issues, but they are a pox to the party...and to a greater extent America. In the words of the Rolling Stones, you cant always get what you want, but you get what you need.

Antithetical to those lyrics, Massie never tries to discriminate between "wants" and "needs." The result is he gets absolutely nothing done, gets relegated to the back bench, and becomes a useful idiot for AOC & Co.
So I'm a hard "no" on Massie.
He's a big talking do-nothing.
As Lee Iacocca used to say, "Either lead, follow, or get out of the way."
Massie neither leads, follows, nor gets out of the way. The result is he gets shoved aside, fittingly.
For those here whining about "Trump started it! Wah-wah-wah!" Frankly, Trump has been kinder to the man then he deserves.

It's always been personal with Massie towards Trump. Massie has been told how smart he is his whole life, Trump thump him on the playground and Massie can't shake it off like a man.

In JE's emails, he bragged about his math scores and said Trump wasn't smart. (as Trump beat him out on a real estate bid) Democrat O sight committee was surely fapping on this.
