Can't provide a source. It's just something I remember having been said. Not suggesting it is an official policy but, it has been suggested by "expert" talking heads.

It's not something the political elite want, because that is an extremely costly enterprise in terms of political capital. The West doesn't have much political capital without a direct, open attack on NATO proper. But funding a proxy war is exactly up the US's wheelhouse.

Joe Biden Is Calling for Regime Change in Russia and This Time It Isn't A Gaffe
by Tom O'Connor
4/4/22

When President Joe Biden told the world from Warsaw on March 26 that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin "cannot remain in power," the White House quickly sought to downplay the U.S. leader's remarks, noting that Biden's remarks were not a call for "regime change" in Moscow.

But Biden then told reporters he was "not walking back anything," and that his words were an expression of his "moral outrage" at the atrocities he believed a man he's branded a "war criminal" has been responsible for throughout the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The president doubled down ...

"Moreover, the anger will grow because more horrific incidents will likely come to light," he added. "That said, there are two consequences to keep in mind as the president of the United States calls for regime change in Russia — even without using that term —and Putin's trial as a war criminal."

They’ll give them however much they want to, so far no body in America has done anything to slow them down and there’s virtually nothing mentioned about it in the media so they have carte blanche to do as they please.
I’m not sure anyone can even tell you how much we’ve already given them nor exactly where it’s going nor how it’s being accounted for.

Wow.
Less than a dozen .... and we could shoot them down?
Really?

Your numbers are just a tad off.
quote:

Russia has approximately 160 ballistic missiles on high alert (capable of launch in 15 minutes), and most of them are estimated to be ICBMs
...

Russia is in the process of systematically replacing Soviet-era SS-18, -19, and -25 systems with the latest SS-27M2 systems with complete replacement by 2024
...

SS-18s are likewise being replaced by the SS-X-29 Sarmats under development. Strategic nuclear submarines and SLBMs will also be replaced by the latest Borei-class submarines and new SLBM Bulava. Elsewhere, Russia’s bombers, cruise missiles and non-strategic nuclear weapons and their launchers are all being modernized.

As a matter of fact, maritime patrols by Russia’s nuclear submarines have gained in frequency in the recent years. However, this Russian fleet comprises about a total 20 submarines per year. Given constraints on submarine patrols, they are believed to be attack nuclear submarines. Last year Russia conducted the following ballistic tests: one ICBMs and five SLBMs. Russia has conducted large-scale military maneuvers involving one ICBM and one SLBM launches. These exercises involve strategic bombers launching long-range cruise missiles

Nobody is sweating his nukes?
The only "good news" is the new SS-27M2 system is non-MIRV.

Information war with real propoganda provided by "usefull idiots" like Stephen King.

quote:

Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus) communicate with Stephen King as President of Ukraine Zelenskiy.
«King of Horror» Stephen King promised to write a fake script about «evil Russians» for the media, agreed to give the role of Pennywise for «Ukrainian President», called Trump «lazy and incompetent», showed the former US president the dirty sign and compared Bandera with the founding fathers of the USA.

His target is the brainwashed citizens of Russia.

BTW, demonstrations and even riots have broken out in several Russian cities. Apparently, Putin's rally months ago was full of chicken hawks who have either bought one way tickets out of Russia or demonstrating now.

Hey dummy, have you heard of the START Treaty?
Do you know WTF the term 'verification' means?
Are you familiar with these odd cocoons of technology, aka Spy Satellites, floating in outerspace?

I just cited for you the verified results of Russian military expenditures in the arena. You either struggle with literacy, or you're so lazy you didn't even open the link.

Most of the money is going to pay for troop deployment by the US in Poland due Putain's sabre rattling.

We are purging our equipment from storage, even HIMARS, as new systems are rolled out. We have even sent HARMS missiles a decade beyond their expiration date. They've been collecting dust for 3 decades now.

I have NO problem with that, as long as he uses them in a responsible manner to target Zelesky, DC, and California.
