Tell me again about “fair share”

Amazon paid more in taxes last year than you will in your entire life.
44% of Americans don’t pay federal income tax. Why don’t you bitch for them to pay their fair share?

False, they have problems with excess. Owning three homes is excess.

Your previous post was about individuals not paying their fare share. Last I checked, Amazon was a company.

You people have NO fricking frame of reference. You think sub 3.5% mortgage rates and nearly free car loan rates are normal.
I think my first mortgage was 7.25%. It's going to be pretty interesting to see what happens when rates eventually return to historic norms.

When shareholders sell their shares, they still end up paying taxes bruh. Also, you act like people here support crony capitalism... They don't. Businesses don't write the tax codes, the government does, so why do you want to give them even more power when they've already bent over for big business in your eyes?

They didn't teach "normal logic" when he was in the 10th grade.

Shhh. Amazon paid zero federal income tax last year! They MUST pay their fair share!
44% of Americans didn’t pay federal income tax last year.
Shhhhhhh. Don’t worry about them. It’s the corporations that must pay!

I will say that boomers have wrecked the housing market where I live. Starter homes being milked for rent money sucks for millennials trying to buy homes
Wait, your complaint is that boomers own starting homes and are renting them?

there is absolutely 0.00 separation between big business and the government at this point in our country. I believe the term is, "corporatocracy"

Given the reciprocal dynamics between big business and big government, any increase in influence in either is an increase in the other.
A corporate boot and a state boot feel just the same on the neck, even if the branding is different.
Removing the state's ability to influence through corporate power - or vice versa - is the key. That's a tough one to do, though.

I'm voting for Bernie because politicians, on both sides of the aisle, are overwhelmingly self-serving, immoral megalomaniacs.
and Bernie went from poor to owning three houses and being a millionaire. while only being a politician. so selfless of him

His record (except for a few gotchas) speaks for itself. He wants to help people
His record is doing nothing while elected, and not holding any real jobs before being elected. He literally just co-sponsors and never passes anything. How is that helping? quote:

r the record, his policies will murder my pocketbook, personally. my wife and I are in top tax bracket, so i imagine we're going to get hit pretty hard, no matter how you slice it. but we'll live in a country where it's no longer okay to do shite like bankrupt people to get cancer treatment, so that's a good thing to show our kids and future generations.
actually being able to receive proper cancer treatment is way better than "guaranteed" "care" that doesn't even treat it...which is what you get with socialized medicine. your argument is immoral
