They’re proceeding on the procedural votes and random bureaucratic crap that inundates the Senate and it’s processes.
Setting it up so that they’ll be ready for the final floor vote the minute the FBI finishes their redundant x7 investigation.
But lord knows we have to have more 302’s and more wasted resources gathering statements from people who already spoke to the SJC. You know, the body that has legislative oversight over the FBI and DoJ.

False. If the FBI supplemental background check comes back on Tuesday, they can vote on Tuesday. What the Democrats wanted was for a 7-day delay with nothing happening on the floor. Making it a 10 day delay.
If the FBI stuff comes back before Tuesday, they can vote on Tuesday. If it comes back Friday, they can vote Friday.
What the Dems wanted was for it to not be brought to the floor so that when the FBI stuff came back, it would still take three more days.
