Heard this on a podcast this morning and had to stop, it was hurting my heart too much.
The evil necessary to revel in this is too much to process without having some way to address it.
I have to admit that its made the suggestions by the DOJ that there was nothing to investigate absolutely beyond infuriating.
That post is by definition evidence. Its an email from one person to another discussing a crime of the worst possible nature imaginable.
Is it proof? No.
Is it circumstantial? Yes.
Is it obvious evidence of a group of people who were into this behavior? Absolutely.
They're literally joking in code about eating children and Bongino is screaming at me there's nothing there.
What possible response could the Trump administration be expecting from its base with this approach?
Pointing out that this is happening then telling people there's nothing that's going to happen from an accountability standpoint is how governments get toppled because the social agreement has been broken at that point.
The left is already there for other reasons. It almost feels like someone is provoking the right to join them.

Occam's razor tells me this is the most plausible scenario to me.
They agree not to kill him or his family plus probably throw in some other incentives (silver or lead), in return they get to run the DOJ to kill any progress towards accountability on their op or anything else they actually care about.
It frankly explains everything and suggests Trump is just playing in a little sandbox they built him to give his base a way to think they're winning while they do whatever the hell they want with foreign policy (Iran, Venezuela, Israel, etc), spending (off the charts) and keeping the protected class out of prison so they can wait out this "populist moment" without an actual revolution.
He "gets" Bondi as a figure head, they have their boy Todd Blanche act as the real gatekeeper and the status quo marches on.
