Is there a law in MS that prevents anyone from buying 20 kegs of beer and 10 cases of whiskey a day?

Do people not have to be establishment owners to buy that much?

I agree with you here. I will however point out that prescription opiates and painkillers have ruined millions of lives for decades now. That may not have been so with a milder, less toxic, less addictive alternative like Marijuana.

I agree that opioids are terrible, but I actually personally know more people who are burned-out losers because of marijuana than opiate addicts.

A lot of those people would have been losers with or without marijuana. I agree it does seem to reduce drive and ambition in some but it could be they didn’t have those attributes to begin with.

I’m not the poster you’re asking, but…

Hell, no.

I’m gainfully employed and have a wife and family and I’m not a worthless dumbass destined to a life of poverty and temporary employment stints at local gas stations.

But, whatever floats your boat. You do you. I don’t care. But, I don’t want it to be legal, either… but only because the worthless shits crying about Granny’s glaucoma are so entertaining. “Granny has glaucoma. Make weed legal so I can smoke it.”

Whether or not I, or many others, want it to be fully legalized, is not the topic of discussion. We are talking about a bill that the people of Mississippi overwhelmingly voted for and Reeves didn’t like the outcome.

Also, there are literally tens of 1000s of other instances that evolved to what we know today. If this is the stepping stone to full legalization, then awesome. It’s called progress.

You just admitted that your outrage regarding medical marijuana is faux outrage.

Tate Reeves saw through the bill. Everyone here sees through your argument.

Probably 80% of the people arguing with you support legalization. But, you are afraid to make that case. Pathetic.

Mostly and we are starting to see the results in California which is collapsing. The medical marijuana dispensaries cannot compete with illegal trade and they are asking for tax breaks.

The scam is up. I was once convinced it's harmless but not so much any more. I have no issues with personal use but pretending medical marijuana isn't a way to get complete legalization is a farce.

Of course the argument against it is tough as most inner cities don't enforce possession laws at all. Here is BR you can't stop at any intersection without the skunky smell.

What an absolutely idiotic take. Plenty of people have careers good enough that they are not in jobs that have archaic drug testing policies or own their own businesses. But congrats on your family and mid level management position!! At least you aren’t destined to a life of squalor and destitution and gas station employment like those of us who occasionally like to partake. We are proud of you!

Maybe you are just an ignorant hick? The emerging majority of individual states are rising to legalize marijuana on a state level anyway.

The bill for Mississippi was just for medical usage. Pretty soon the Federal government is going to at best fully legalize it and at worst decriminalize it. So then it doesn’t make a damn what a state government will say.

I don’t understand why you can’t just realize that this is a state issue, the people voted for it, and the current governor with his dumb arse stance and the fact the state’s Supreme Court got away with proceeding to cancel out the peoples vote. They got away by a loophole in the state’s constitution about how many regions there are.

But I was told by Mouton that this would put the DRUG CARTELS out of business because... buying from the legal channels is safer... had nothing to do with money!

Are you an idiot? The drug cartel does not make the majority of their money on weed infiltration in the US. They are rising because the borders are wide tf open and has been easy access to Commiefornia for a very long time.

They’ve moved on to bigger things bud thanks for the thought.

Who said anything about the majority of their money? I stated that it was a selling point for those wanting it legalized.

Turns out they were wrong.

Wtf are you talking about you dumb frick? Now address your absolute fricking idiocy claiming hundreds of people die each year from marijuana overdoses just like heroin overdoses. You won’t because you are a pathetic little intellectual coward. And to think you claim on this board to be in the medical field. What a clown.

Have you followed this thread? He claims someone dying from a wreck driving drunk is a confirmed alcohol overdose. Dude is an embarrassment.

I'd drink less if I could smoke marijuana. The plant has already said they are following federal law though.

808 I’m man enough to admit I was wtong of a lot of stuff I posted. I posted it based on the information I had seen but had not seen updated data. That said , you rightfully called me out and corrected me. Do you have anything to say about Jdoc who you went back and forth with calling me out claiming hundreds of people die from marijuana overdoses each year? Just courteous why you never called him out on this stupidy when you enthusiastically corrected my outdated information…
