Thomas Massie has been consistently on the side of the constitution. He angered people from both sides when he was the only one to vote against the $2T stimulus in 2020 that jump started inflation. Remember when John Kerry and Trump were tweeting each other about how much they disliked Massie? He wants to limit the power of the federal government, and there are a whole lot of people in both parties who would love to use the federal government to give themselves more power.
