They get stipends for everything, including a vehicle. Her total benefit package is probably closer to 300k or even more.

They have the cushiest, most benefit laden job of anyone in America outside of a CEO.

The SIMPs on this board fawn over any half way decent looking broad and are blind to how ridiculous they are. She is Exhibit A.

No one is forcing her, she could step down and go back to what was making her more money.

Bingo. These fricks act like what they're doing is some public service.

Social media has really made men look like fools. They worship plastic, fake women.

Well hell, the Founders created the position of congesscritter for a person who had a farm or business as their primary income source. Congress was a Part Time service job.
We need to return to this model.

The nature of this job, it keeps members of Congress and senators in Washington so much of the time—too much of the time, to be honest

I agree with her on this.

These Reps and Senators should be made to work from their home states, where they have to look the people they're fricking in the arse dead in the eye while they're doing it, instead of doing it while hiding in D.C.

Absolutely.

Give them 200k plus an office stipend, make them live with their constituents and frick DC, destroy it.

Between the last couple of elections and this clown, I'm so glad to have finally gotten 2500 miles away from Georgia.

Don’t really see how you could have much better of a rep than her unless it’s Roy or Massie or maybe one or two others. I don’t say this as a praise to her but as an indictment of all the other clowns up there.

The grass is always greener. Politicians beg people to get elected with slogans like, "Elect me, and I'll fight for you"! The truth is, they don't give a shite about you. It's always about ego. Always. Don't be fooled into thinking some politicians care about you because they say pretty words. Actions matter. And when push comes to shove, they always vote to take more of your wealth. They'll just take turns getting to be the good cop.

MTG is right. They aren't.

Proof?

They take the $$$ and sell out America and its high tech secrets/weaponry projects for 10%, a case of Coors, bag o' chips, and secks with ChiCom agents.

I read the other day that AOC went from being a bartender to worth about 32 million in a few years. There are many ways for these politicians to make money if they want.
