So are you calling Mattis a "nighttime talking head". He confirmed that Iran is complying with the JCPOA.

Exactly, you just made the case for why there needed to be more concessions BEFORE he agreed to meet with him.
So we agree canceling was the correct move and you want to criticize Trump for playing along and getting some hostages released in the meantime? Lol

No, I'm saying he shouldn't have agreed to it in the first place.
Along with mis-steps like Bolton saying we will follow the Libya model, there have been error after error.

That’s only one error, in your opinion, what are the others?

it is for North Korea. Trump does not play games when it comes to getting the right deal for the U.S.

You are so used to Obama surrendering and apologizing to every dictator in the world that you get brain seizures when a President actually shows he's not going to follow Obama's terrible, losing example.

Well, it's not Seth Rich.

So much for that Nobel Prize that "everyone" thinks he should get.

I thinking calling KJU "honorable" and that he treated American hostages well are two other missteps.

Sorry you don't comprehend that kind of thinking.....

I keep see people write this. What evidence exists that he has had any meaningful success in "getting the right deal for the U.S"?

Because that's Trump's objective. To get a participation trophy from European elites that he can display on this mantle.

I think it was pretty clear that team Trump wanted to sabotage the meeting. The real question is whether Trump's "crazy guy" style will lead to successes in the long term. That method did work for Reagan, but Reagan was much more disciplined than Trump. The story isn't over.

Why just focus on Obama here? Why not include Bush and Clinton, everyone's hands are unclean on North Korea.
