It’s a designation for loans. Period. Nothing else.

No one is saying your ex has to dress like a hobo at work and not use proper English.

Dude...

A professional in colloquial terms is someone who gets paid to do something.

That has no bearing on the legal definition.

Else Garbage men should also get said higher loans.

Also quick check on google.
quote:

Doctors can prescribe all medications, while the prescriptive authority for advanced practice nurses (APNs), like nurse practitioners, varies by state and depends on the specific drug schedule
. In most states, APNs can prescribe antibiotics, antidepressants, and birth control, and can prescribe Schedule II-V drugs (like some narcotics) if they have a DEA number. However, states have different rules regarding Schedule II drugs, and registered nurses (RNs) cannot prescribe independently unless they have a special endorsement or are working under a partnership with a supervising physician or APN

Sounds like state by state variance, so not federally relevant.

Education.

How do people get masters of architecture? Physical therapy? MSW?

Let’s continue down this line of argument. I posted the other day that the per hour cost of a MSW at Wash U is $2800+. The MSW is 80 hours.

Why don’t you run the math on that for us? And then compare it to an average salary of $80k (with a gusting tailwind).

have three nurses in my family. They’re concerned about this because if they wanted to go back and pursue their PA degree they cannot get financial aid.

I don’t know if it still is, but was a 28 month program. Come out with a Masters Of Medical Science. I seem to remember this much.

Is this all nurses including CRNAs and NPs?

CRNAs and NPs are excluded from the enhanced loans.

CRNAs that make more than some physicians once out of school.
