“Black N Mild, 44, New Orleans, bounce DJ and radio personality”
Why didn’t they try finding his real name?

Incalculable loss, or .03% of the US population...?

quote:its incalculable because even the NYT knows the number is bs
How is it incalculable if it’s an actual number?

Maybe they mean to Cuomo’s political future considering how many people died directly as a result of his decisions on nursing homes.

I go look at Twitter from time to time and it's scary.
The amount of people who actually believe Trump killed all 100k of those people is shocking. I never imagined TDS would reach this level.

Despite Drop in Crime, an Increase in Inmates
I was going to guess a decrease in probation sentencing. Close enough.
I don’t get the melt over “incalculable,” either. I can see how you could make fun of it if you didn’t understand the wording (separate adjectives separately applying to deaths and loss).

The continuing increase in the prison population, despite a drop or leveling off in the crime rate in the past few years, is a result of laws passed in the 1990's that led to more prison sentences and longer terms, said Allen J. Beck, chief of corrections statistics for the department's Bureau of Justice Statistics and an author of the report.

6th name on the list was a murder victim. Killed by an inmate released because of Covid.

Which makes some governors’ responses a gift that keeps on giving.
Especially as they threaten to imprison business owners for reopening after they just released murderers for compassionate reasons.

“They were not simply names on a list”
Then NYT proceeds to drop a huge list.
Great lesson in irony, NYT...

Appears pretty calculable on its face, to me at least

Incalculable means their methods to decide who’s died from COVID can’t be described
There’s no way that per population NY and NJ have 10x more COVID deaths than Florida and Texas
Democrats are lying incalculably

Not kidding this is one of the names. (First column). Given that name are you sure there wasn't a comorbidity factor?
Given the location are we sure it wasn't lead poisoning?

This is nothing more than a repackaging of the death totals from Gulf War II during W's presidency. As soon as dumbass got into the WH, it was like no one ever died in a war again.

How many of these are assumed covid19 deaths? 1/3?
NYT clickbait and TDS and cherry picking. They (NYT) screen-scraped obits from around the country that had the word Covid or Covid related in them.
Your question is still valid because the assumption is that the obituary accurately reflected the coroner or doctor who stated that the individual died due to Covid. E.g., a 102 year old who died of complications due to Covid.
