How did they even get off the reservation in the first place?

Haven't you ever heard the phrase "Off the reservation"?!

Tldr....but if they are off the reservation doing things they shouldn't then frick'em. I personally dgaf about feather indians, and their want for autonomy, and want of American rights.
Imo we need to take over their lands, and stop appeasing them. Stupidest thing we've done. They ain't winning anything back on their own.

So this was all BS?

The below comment added to the BS in original post is also false.

Oglala Sioux president walks back claims of DHS pressure, member arrests
The president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe has walked back claims he made in a memo and press release earlier this week that immigration enforcement arrested four tribal members and that the federal government tried to extract an “immigration agreement” out of the tribe in return for information about their members’ whereabouts.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said it can’t verify claims that any of their officers arrested or “even encountered” members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe or found anyone in their detention centers claiming to be a tribal member. They denied asking the tribe for any kind of agreement.
Tribal President Frank Star Comes Out has not responded to repeated requests for comment, including after his updated memo was released on Thursday.

of the new stories said they were picked up at a homeless encampment
I wonder if carrying an ID would’ve helped their cause?

Why are any Sioux living in homeless shelters?
Because they are mostly a bunch of bums.

I have no problem with descriptions like this, but you can bet they don’t describe CNN as the left wing version of that - but they are.

The AP isn’t neutral. No one is neutral. Mainstream was liberal leaning for decades before the more left shift past 10 or so years. Every news org either leans left or right or is left or right.
Your own additional report added later debunking your OP was actually posted online before your original post.
The AP’s report on the backtracking was posted on Jan 15th almost 32 hours before your post.

Your OP posted late on Jan 16 used an AP report from Jan 13th as its main source ignoring the available AP report from Jan 15th debunking it/backtracking on it and the Jan 16 debunking you finally posted.
This shite was over and debunked before you even started this thred and added your smug comment about something that never happened…

I do not, however, support the detainment or deportation of American citizens.
We disagree here. If you were born in a foreign country and moved here in the last 10 or so years, I want you gone. Good bye. All the H1-Bs need to go too. Unless there is an absolutely necessary reason for you to be here and you can prove it to an independent panel of citizens, you go home and you have to wait at least a decade to even attempt to come back.
We need to close off ALL immigration to this country. I don’t care what some plaque on the Statue of Liberty written by some random woman says. It’s not a promise nor a policy nor are we in any way obligated to remote honor it in this time.
